The BYD Battery-Box Premium LVS 4.0 is a 51.2 V lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery module with 4 kWh usable energy. It is part of the modular LVS range and is used with an external inverter for grid-tied, backup and off-grid battery storage systems.

External inverter required. Compatible inverter models should be checked against the BYD Battery-Box Premium LVS Minimum Configuration List. The modular design and internal plug connection simplify installation; no additional internal wiring is required. Operating temperature range is -10 °C to +50 °C.
Round-trip efficiency is stated at ≥95%. The battery uses cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry.
