Installation Notes

MC4 model with three pairs of MC4 PV connectors; maximum current per MC4 connector is 30 A. PV voltage must exceed Vbat + 5 V to start, then remain above Vbat + 1 V for operation. Indoor, unconditioned installation with IP43 electronics and IP22 connection area. Optional SmartSolar pluggable LCD display can be fitted by removing the front rubber seal and plugging in the display.

Efficiency

Maximum efficiency exceeds 99%. Ultra-fast MPPT is stated to improve energy harvest versus PWM controllers and slower MPPT controllers. Self-consumption is less than 35 mA at 12 V and 20 mA at 48 V.
