Installation Notes

PV voltage must exceed battery voltage by 5 V for start-up, then remain at least 1 V above battery voltage during operation. If more PV power is connected than specified, the controller limits input power. A PV array with higher short-circuit current than specified may damage the controller. The unit is for indoor, unconditioned environments. Tr model PV and battery terminals are 35 mm² / AWG2.

Efficiency

Maximum efficiency exceeds 99%. Ultra-fast MPPT is stated to improve energy harvest compared with PWM controllers and slower MPPT controllers. No cooling fan is fitted.
