Installation Notes

MC4 models use three pairs of MC4 connectors, with a maximum of 30 A per MC4 connector. PV voltage must exceed Vbat + 5 V for controller start-up and then Vbat + 1 V for operation. A PV array with excessive short-circuit current may damage the controller. Indoor, unconditioned installation only.

Efficiency

Maximum efficiency is 99%. Ultra-fast MPPT is stated to improve energy harvest compared with PWM and slower MPPT controllers. No cooling fan is fitted, and temperature derating is used at higher temperatures.
