Installation Notes

For cycle use, the manufacturer specifies a 3-step charge curve or 4-step adaptive charging method. Charge voltage should be reduced as temperature increases, and temperature compensation is required where the battery will be below 10°C or above 30°C for long periods. Recommended charge current should preferably not exceed 0.2C.

Efficiency

Low self-discharge of less than 2% per month at 20°C helps preserve stored capacity. Storage mode reduces corrosion of the positive plates, and Battery Refresh mode once per week compensates for self-discharge.
