Three-phase SolarEdge Home Hub inverter for grid-tied PV systems with backup and storage functionality. The 8kW SE8K-RWB48 variant is intended for PV production, battery charging and backup operation in residential and rooftop solar PV installations.
Rated AC output of 8000 VA with three-phase WYE grid connection.
Provides up to 7200 VA backup output with automatic switchover in under 10 seconds.
Stores PV power directly to the battery without AC conversion losses.
Supports up to 13,000 W DC module input, with 900 Vdc maximum input voltage and reverse-polarity protection.
IP65 enclosure, supplied mounting brackets and smartphone commissioning via SolarEdge SetApp.
SE8K-RWB48 three-phase inverter with 8000 VA rated and maximum AC output, 7200 VA backup output, 13,000 W max PV input, 900 Vdc max input voltage, 750 Vdc nominal DC input, 98% peak efficiency and 97.6% European weighted efficiency. Backup switchover time is under 10 seconds. Battery interface supports 40-62 Vdc, up to 5000 W charge/discharge power and CAN communication.
IP65 enclosure for indoor or outdoor installation. Mounting brackets are provided. Cable gland sizes listed are 15-21 mm for AC output and 2 x 11-16.5 mm for battery DC cables. PV DC input uses 2 x MC4 pair. Additional hardware and firmware version upgrades may be required for some functions, and some battery support is marked pending firmware support.
Peak inverter efficiency is 98% and European weighted efficiency is 97.6%. Peak battery-to-grid discharge efficiency is 96.1%. The DC-coupled design avoids AC conversion losses during battery charging.
