Three-phase SolarEdge Home Hub Inverter for storage and backup applications. This 5kW unit is designed for grid-connected PV systems with battery storage and backup operation, with DC-coupled battery integration and backup AC output.
Supports 3 / N / PE three-phase WYE with neutral systems with 5000 VA rated AC output.
Provides up to 4500 VA backup output with automatic switchover time of less than 10 seconds.
Stores PV power directly to the battery without AC conversion losses.
Includes reverse-polarity protection, ground-fault isolation detection and residual current detection.
Peak inverter efficiency is 98% and European weighted efficiency is 97.3%, with built-in RS485, Ethernet and SolarEdge Home Network interfaces.
5kW / 5000 VA three-phase inverter for 3 / N / PE WYE systems. AC output voltage is 380/220 or 400/230 Vac, with 184-264.5 Vac line-to-neutral range and 50/60 ±5 Hz frequency. Maximum continuous output current is 8 A per phase in normal operation and 7.2 A per phase in backup mode. PV input supports up to 10,000 W module STC, 900 Vdc maximum input voltage, 750 Vdc nominal DC voltage and 13.3 Adc maximum input current. Battery side supports 40-62 Vdc, 5000 W charge/discharge power and 125 Adc maximum continuous input/output current. Peak battery-to-grid discharge efficiency is 96.1%.
IP65 protection rating is stated for indoor and outdoor installation. Operating temperature range is -40 to +60 °C. Mounting brackets are provided. Installation details include AC output cable gland diameter 15-21 mm, battery DC cable gland outer diameter 2 x 11-16.5 mm, and PV DC input via 2 x MC4 pair. Some functions require additional hardware and firmware upgrades; battery support for some types may depend on firmware release.
