The Pylontech RT12100G31 is a 12.8 V, 100 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery module with 1.28 kWh nominal energy. It is designed for low-voltage energy-storage, backup and compatible lead-acid-replacement applications using an appropriate charger or AC/DC converter.
The specified operating/discharge voltage range is 10.8–14.4 VDC, with a recommended charge voltage of 14–14.4 VDC. Maximum continuous charge/discharge current is 100 A and peak discharge current is 200 A for 30 seconds.
The embedded battery-management system provides CAN, RS485 service/console communication, Bluetooth BLE 5.0 and two dry-contact inputs plus two outputs. Up to 16 identical RT12100G31 modules may be configured in a maximum 4S4P arrangement, subject to the current Pylontech manual and compatible system design.
The battery uses M8 power terminals, has an IP67 enclosure and measures 226 × 325 × 173.5 mm H×W×D. Net weight is 12 kg, supported by the current exact Pylontech manual.
Charging is specified from 0°C to 60°C and discharging from −20°C to 60°C. Between −40°C and −20°C, the built-in heating film may operate through an external charger to warm the module; normal charging and discharging are not available in that range. The current manual states that the battery must not be installed outdoors and must not be connected directly to PV solar wiring or AC power.
Install, configure and operate the RT12100G31 only in accordance with the current Pylontech operation manual and warranty conditions. Numeric cycle-life, usable-capacity and nominal-current claims are intentionally omitted because exact Pylontech document revisions conflict.
