IMO DC Isolator 16A 800VDC - 4 Pole

The IMO SI16-PEL64R-4 is a four-pole TRUE DC solar isolator for PV-array DC disconnection. It combines an enclosed PEL64R body, lockable rotary handle and operator-independent switching mechanism for DC switch-disconnector duties.

Suffix 4 identifies the standard four-pole arrangement shown for two PV strings. It is distinct from suffix 4S, which is the four-poles-in-series configuration.

16A at 800VDC

The PEL64R SI16 2/4-pole derating graph supports 16A at 800VDC in DC21B/DC-PV1 duty with 2.5mm² conductors up to approximately 35°C ambient; derating applies above this temperature.

IP67 enclosed rotary-handle version

Installation Notes

Use as a DC-side PV switch-disconnector in the four-pole configuration shown by IMO. For the 16A at 800VDC rating, use 2.5mm² conductors and observe the PEL64R derating curve above approximately 35°C; the enclosed-unit ambient limit is +45°C. Tighten the M4 Pz2 terminals to 1.7–1.8Nm and select conductor size within the stated limits.
