Technical Summary

Fronius Ohmpilot 9.0-3 consumption regulator with 9 kW maximum output, continuously adjustable. Rated for 230 V / 3*230 V input and output, 50 Hz, with maximum input current of 16 A or 3*16 A and nominal AC output current of 13 A or 3*13 A. Pulse width modulation control, THDi < 3 %, IP54 enclosure, wall mounting, 350 x 280 x 110 mm, 3.9 kg, ambient temperature range 0 to 40 °C, permitted humidity 0 to 99% non-condensing.

Installation Notes

Wall-mounted installation. For three-phase heating rods, the neutral conductor must be connected to the input voltage and the heating rod. A Fronius Datamanager 2.0 and a Fronius Smart Meter are required to use the device. A PT1000 temperature sensor is advisable for setting minimum and target temperatures.

Efficiency

Uses excess solar power for heating and can support increased self-consumption. Datasheet notes up to 100% increase in self-consumption rate and dynamic power reduction for zero feed-in operation. Pulse width modulation is used for power regulation.
