The Victron Quattro is a 48V inverter/charger with VE.Bus communication for grid-connected, generator-backed and off-grid power systems. This 120V model provides 5000VA inverter capacity, integrated battery charging and automatic source transfer for installations where uninterrupted AC supply is required.
Connects to two independent AC sources and automatically switches to the active input.
Main output maintains supply during AC source interruption, with transfer in less than 20 milliseconds.
Limits AC input current and can supplement a restricted generator or shore supply with battery power during peak load.
Supports up to 6 units in parallel, with split-phase operation using 2 units and three-phase operation using 3 units.
Supports remote monitoring, configuration and system integration through VE.Bus-compatible control and monitoring equipment.
48V inverter/charger with 5000VA continuous output at 25°C, 4000W continuous output at 25°C, 3700W at 40°C and 3000W at 65°C. Peak power is 10000W. Output is 120VAC ±2% at 60Hz ±0.1%. AC input range is 90–140VAC at 45–65Hz, with two inputs and a maximum feed-through current of 2 x 100A. Maximum efficiency is 94/94/95%. Charge current for the house battery is 70A. IP21 enclosure, operating temperature -40 to +65°C.
IP21 enclosure for indoor or protected installation. Parallel and three-phase applications can be configured with VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software. Stand-alone settings can be adjusted using the DIP switch procedure. System configuration can also use Assistants software, with local monitoring available via GX devices, battery monitor, control panels and connected smart devices.
Maximum efficiency is listed as 94/94/95%. Search mode zero-load power is listed as 10/10/15W. Battery temperature sensor is included.
