The Victron Orion-Tr 12/12-9 is an isolated DC-DC converter for 12V DC systems, providing regulated step-down/step-up conversion between input and output circuits. It is commonly used where isolated DC supply conversion, voltage adjustment, or battery charging from a different DC source is required.
Provides galvanic isolation rated at 200V dc between input, output and case.
Output can be adjusted from 10-15V, with a nominal output voltage of 12.2V.
Delivers 9A continuous output current at nominal output voltage and 25°C, with 110W continuous output power.
Allows low-power switching and avoids the need for a high-current switch in the input wiring.
IP43 protection applies when installed with the screw terminals oriented downwards.
Isolated DC-DC converter with 8-17V input range, 12.2V nominal output, 10-15V adjustment range, 9A continuous output at 25°C, 110W continuous power at 25°C and 85W at 40°C. Efficiency is 87%. Screw terminal DC connections accept up to 6 mm² (AWG10) cable. Operating temperature range is -20 to +55°C, with derating above 40°C.
Use screw terminals for DC connection; no special tools are needed. IP43 protection is only achieved with the screw terminals oriented downwards. Maximum cable cross-section is 6 mm² (AWG10).
Declared efficiency is 87%. Continuous output power is reduced from 110W at 25°C to 85W at 40°C, with derating above 40°C.
