The Victron Orion-Tr IP43 12/12V-30A is an isolated DC-DC converter for converting 12V DC input to a regulated 12V DC output. It is part of the Orion-Tr isolated converter range and is specified at 360W continuous output at 40°C.
Provides galvanic isolation of 200V DC between input, output and case.
Nominal output voltage is 12.2V with an adjustable output range of 10-15V.
Rated for 30A continuous output at nominal voltage and 40°C, with 40A maximum output for 10 seconds.
Supports low-power switching, reducing the need for a high-current input switch in the wiring.
IP43 protection applies when the screw terminals are oriented downwards.
Orion-Tr 12/12-30 isolated DC-DC converter. Input voltage range 10-17V. Under-voltage shut-down at 7V and restart at 7.5V. Nominal output 12.2V, adjustable 10-15V. Continuous output current 30A at 40°C; continuous power 360W at 40°C and 430W at 25°C. Efficiency 87%. DC connection by screw terminals, maximum cable cross-section 16 mm². Operating temperature range -20 to +55°C with derating above 40°C.
Install with screw terminals oriented downwards to obtain IP43 protection. DC connection is by screw terminals and no special tools are required for installation. Maximum cable cross-section is 16 mm² (AWG6).
Declared efficiency is 87%. Output current is temperature-protected and reduces at higher ambient temperatures above 40°C.
