The Victron MultiPlus 12/2000/80-50 is a 12V inverter/charger for AC supply and battery charging applications. It combines a true sine wave inverter, 80 A charger and 50 A transfer switch in a compact single-phase unit for use where AC power needs to be managed alongside battery storage.
Provides 120VAC output at 60Hz with 2000 VA continuous output at 25°C.
Four-stage adaptive charging for the main battery, with support for a starter battery trickle output on 12 V and 24 V models.
Transfers AC supply quickly in one enclosure, reducing the need for separate charger and transfer components.
Manages limited generator or shore power and can supplement short peaks with battery power.
Supports parallel operation with up to six units, or three units for three-phase output.
MultiPlus 12/2000/80-50 inverter/charger with 9.5-17 V DC input range, 120VAC ±2% output, 2000 VA continuous output at 25°C, 1600 W continuous output at 25°C, 1400 W at 40°C and 1000 W at 65°C. Peak power is 3500 W. Maximum efficiency is 93%, zero-load power is 10 W and 3 W in Search Mode. AC input range is 95-140 VAC at 45-65 Hz. Charger output is 80 A for the house battery, with 14.4 V absorption, 13.8 V float and 13.2 V storage voltages.
Battery connection is via M8 bolts. 230V AC connection uses screw terminals rated at 13 mm² (6 AWG). DIP switches are provided for battery charge voltage and Search Mode; further configuration is available through VE-Config or the VE.Bus Smart dongle. A Cerbo GX or other GX product is required for internet-connected remote monitoring.
Maximum efficiency is 93%. Zero-load power is 10 W, reducing to 3 W in Search Mode. Search Mode reduces inverter no-load consumption by approximately 70%.
