Technical Summary

Wired remote controller / control kit for Samsung EHS air to water heat pump systems. Supports Auto, Cool and Heat operation modes, DHW mode selection, scheduling, Quiet mode and energy usage display. Temperature adjustment steps can be set to 0.1, 0.5 or 1 °C. Service mode uses password 0202. Display settings include 12/24-hour time format, brightness from 10 to 100% and screen saver timing from 10 to 60 seconds. Field settings include PV control and Smart Grid control activation options.

Installation Notes

Service/installation mode is accessed by pressing two buttons together for more than 3 seconds and entering password 0202. For hot water mode, hot water function must be enabled in field specification setting mode (#3011) and the hot water tank temperature sensor must be connected. When connecting to an upper-level controller, FSV (4061) must be set so 2-zone control is not used.

Efficiency

The manual states energy-saving operation functions are provided. Economic DHW heating uses only the heat pump to save energy. PV control and Smart Grid control are included for energy management.
