Tesla Product Range

At CCL, we supply Tesla Powerwall, Expansion Packs, Wall Connector Gateway and the Remote Meter.

Powerwall

With 13.5kWh of DC-coupled storage and a power output of up to 11.04kW, Powerwall provides renewable energy 24/7.

Integrated Solar Inverter: Tesla Powerwall includes an integrated inverter, reducing the components needed for installation and boxes on the wall. The PV inverter is configurable between 3.68kW and 11.04kW and has three MPPTs.

Scalable: Powerwall can be scaled to meet higher energy and power demands. Up to three Expansion Packs can be added to one Powerwall, delivering 54kWh. An additional three Powerwalls can be combined with this set-up, giving 94.5kWh of storage.

Energy Security: For smart energy management, it enables system owners to control, monitor and optimise Powerwall. The app now includes Storm Watch* to ensure the battery has enough stored energy to power the home in the event of a power cut triggered by a major weather event. Storm Watch mode activates when the Met Office sends an Amber or Red alert mentioning a risk of power cuts.

Resilience: Powerwall is IP67-rated and is designed to be flood resistant, withstanding submersion in up to 60cm of water.

*Storm Watch is currently available for the U.S., United Kingdom, Italy, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand.

Gateway

Backup Gateway controls system operation, detects grid outages, enables backup power from the battery and functions as a site meter. In conjunction with a Backup Gateway, Powerwall will power the home during a power outage. If backup is not required, a non-backup configuration is available under G98, G99 and G100 standards. In place of the Gateway, the Tesla Remote Meter (TRM) is connected via an RS485. In the event of a grid outage, the system simply shuts off.

Expansion Packs

DC expansion packs allow additional storage capacity to be added via a harness that plugs into the side of the system. Powerwalls can be stacked front-to-back or side-by-side.

Wall Connector

Tesla Energy's EV charger is compatible with most electric vehicles including Tesla vehicles and other EVs

Warranty

Tesla Powerwall is covered by a comprehensive 10-year warranty, with unlimited cycles, rated for 80% energy retention after 10 years. The warranty includes parts and labour.

Training – Online & In-person

Tesla’s online training includes e-learning and webinars. The webinars are instructor-led for real-time Q&A and enable you to learn the product from the installer’s perspective, including new hardware and software designed for the most efficient installation experience.

In-person training is delivered through technical roadshows and comprehensive instructor-led sessions. This training is hands-on, allowing you to interact directly with Powerwall and tools.

Installer Support

Tesla Partner Portal: Gives you access to Tesla-approved marketing resources, Powerwall leads, order support and more to help grow your business. If you have questions, a dedicated Tesla Account Manager will be available to support you. Tesla also provide round-the-clock, 24/7 technical support via their support line.
