Telford Copper & Stainless Steel Cylinders Ltd. was established in 1989 as a manufacturer of traditional copper vented cylinders. With a UK manufacturing base, today the company has expanded its portfolio to include solutions for low carbon heating installations. Telford produces high-quality hot water cylinders in copper and stainless steel, with options to suit a wide variety of project sizes and applications.

Telford Product Range

At CCL, we stock Telford cylinders ranging from 150L to 500L, made from duplex stainless steel which provides superior corrosion resistance, the units are specifically designed for use with air source heat pumps, along with internal and external buffer stores.

Tempest Water Cylinders: Include a purpose-designed coil to allow maximum heat transfer of renewable energy into the stored water. Available in 150 to 500L capacities in standard and slimline formats, the Tempest range uses a factory-fitted 3kW immersion heater for backup heat with the option to integrate a 50L buffer store.

Buffer Stores: Provide an energy saving option for integrating different heat sources to deliver domestic hot water and space heating. The buffer stores are suitable for use with a wide range of traditional and renewable heat sources.

Pre-plumbed Cylinders: To reduce time on site, the Tempest range is available in a series of pre-plumbed, standard and slimline units from 170-300L, with the option to include inbuilt buffer stores. The cylinders have push-fit, prefabricated pipework and wiring to assist with a fast and easy installation.

Heat Pump Manufacturer Specified Cylinder: Telford work alongside a variety of heat pump manufacturers to provide bespoke cylinders that cater for the specific needs of each heat pump. The options include: Samsung, Worcester Bosch and Mitsubishi.

All cylinders have a lifetime manufacturing guarantee on the inner container, and 2 year warranty on all external components.
