S4 Products – RooFit System

At CCL, we stock the S4 RooFit range, an in-roof system for residential and new build PV installations. This system is based on one single, versatile base plate and is universally compatible with PV module brands and sizes.

The S4 RooFit range is designed for 12° to 70° pitch roofs. The base plate can be installed in both portrait and landscape configurations. In portrait, the system doesn’t need battens and in landscape it requires just one between rows. RooFit also allows for mixed orientations on the same roof, so you can optimise the available roof surface.

We supply the universal plate plus extensions, lateral flashings, adaptors and accessories.

Mechanical Performance

The RooFit system features a reinforced rear structure for mechanical resistance to pressure loads, wind uplift and long-term structural stress. This ensures performance beyond standard solutions and supports compliance with UK wind load requirements, while preserving long-term roof integrity.

RooFit uses compact EPDM rubber seals (70 Shore A) — a high-performance material specifically designed to maintain optimal compression under direct clamping pressure and to resist deformation, even after years of use.
